STORY

平凡な大学生・野本裕也（のもとゆうや）は、謎の少女・ヒトミと出会う。ひと気のない廃棄場にて、野本は彼女が獣の姿に変貌し、獅子の怪物と死闘を繰り広げる様を目撃する。彼らの正体は、人類の頭脳と獣の牙を併せ持った「獣闘士（ブルート）」。そしてヒトミは、最強の闘争本能を秘めた獣闘士「蜜獲（ラーテル）」だった。獣闘士たちは、古来より日本経済を支配してきた４大財閥、三門・八菱・角供・石田に抱えられ、その代理人として決闘を行い、覇権を争ってきたのである。そして野本もまたヒトミと出会ったことで、この獣闘士たちの熾烈な戦い「牙闘（キリングバイツ）」に飲み込まれていく──。
Yuya Nomoto, an ordinary college student, meets a mysterious girl called Hitomi. At an abandoned waste facility, Nomoto witnesses Hitomi transform into a beast and battle a lion monster. They are called “Brutes,” fighters with the brains of humans and the fangs of beasts. Hitomi is a “Ratel,” a honey badger hybrid with the fiercest and most fearless fighting instincts. Since ancient times, the Brutes have been kept by Mitsukado, Yatsubishi, Sumitomo, and Ishida, the four great zaibatsu conglomerates that have dominated Japanese economy, to fight on their behalf for the control of power. After his encounter with Hitomi, Nomoto finds himself entangled in the Killing Bites, the savage battles of the Brutes.
